Over the years, the Company has established strong relationships with key global brands and franchisors and has successfully renewed development agreements multiple times for brands including Cinnabon and Seattle’s Best Coffee (“SBC”). The Company sources its ingredients from a selected number of key international and local suppliers and distributors with whom it has established strong relationships which ensures continuous supply of the finest quality of core ingredients.
The Company was acquired by and integrated into the Fawaz Alhokair Group (the “Group”) to expand its retail portfolio. The Group is a multi-faceted conglomerate specializing in the development, ownership and operation of shopping malls and hotels, retail outlets, and other wide range of services. The Group has become a pioneer in the regional retail industry. The Company continues to rapidly expand its restaurant and food outlets with a total of 74 stores planned to open in FY 2015. The Company plans to more than double its presence in the next four years. As of October 31, 2014, the Company employed more than 1,100 employees comprising restaurant managers, crew, cooks, clerks, and other support and operational personnel. As part of the Company strategy , it has embraced the training and employment of qualified Saudi nationals to fill key positions in stores operations and management; the current level of Nitaqat is 24%.
